Save and Export¶
After building a student's schedule you can save the session for future reference, export the schedule as a CSV file, or both.
Save a session¶
Saving preserves the student name, grade, student type, all course selections for both semesters, waivers, and a reference to the source master schedule.
Save for the first time:
- Click Save As…
- Enter a session name (for example, "Jordan Smith – Grade 7 DLI").
- Click Save.
The session is stored in your school's Library under Validator Sessions.
Save updates to an existing session:
- Click 💾 Save.
The existing session is overwritten with the current state.
Save limit
Each school can store up to 20 validator sessions. If you reach the limit, the Save and Save As buttons show an error message. Go to the Library and delete a session before saving a new one.
Staff and Admin only
Viewers cannot save sessions. The Save and Save As buttons are not visible to Viewers.
Export to CSV¶
Exporting creates a spreadsheet-compatible file with the student's course selections for one semester.
- Make sure the correct semester tab (Semester 1 or Semester 2) is active.
- Click ⬇ Export CSV.
The file downloads automatically, named [student name]-schedule-s[semester].csv. It includes the student name, grade, semester, period, course code, course name, and block days for each selected course.
