Load a Schedule

Before you can build a student schedule in the Validator, you need to load a source schedule. This is the master schedule that provides the pool of available courses and periods.

Load a master schedule

  1. Click the 📅 Validator tab.
  2. Click Load Schedule / Session.
  3. Under Generated Schedules, find the schedule you want to use.
  4. Click the schedule name to load it.

The Validator populates with the courses from that schedule. You can now begin building a student schedule.

Load from the Library

You can also open a master schedule directly from the Library. Go to 🗂️ Library, find the schedule in the Schedules tab, and click ▶ Open. The app navigates to the Validator with that schedule loaded.

Load a saved validator session

If you previously saved a session for a student and want to continue or review it:

  1. Click Load Schedule / Session.
  2. Under Saved Sessions, find the session by name.
  3. Click the session name to load it.

The Validator restores the student's name, grade, student type, all course selections, and any waivers exactly as you left them.

Schedule conflict detection

If the master schedule has been updated since the session was saved, the Validator shows a conflict notice listing which courses were added or removed in the updated schedule. Review the changes and adjust the student's selections if needed before re-saving.

If the original source schedule can no longer be found, the Validator notes this as well.

Start a new session

To clear the current session and start fresh:

  1. Click New Session.

This clears the student name, all selections, and waivers. The source schedule remains loaded so you can immediately start a new student without re-loading.
