Save and Export¶
After building the master schedule in the Academic Calendar, save it to make it available in the Library and in the Validator. You can also export the current placements as a CSV file for use in other tools.
Save the current schedule¶
Save for the first time:
- Click 💾 Save or Save As… in the toolbar.
- Enter a name for the schedule (for example, "2025–26 Fall Master Schedule").
- Click Save.
The schedule is stored in the Library under Schedules. It becomes available in the Validator as a source schedule.
Save updates to an existing schedule:
- Click 💾 Save.
The existing saved schedule is overwritten with the current placements.
Save limit
Each school can store up to 50 schedules. If you reach the limit, the Save button shows an error. Go to the Library and delete a schedule before saving a new one.
Staff and Admin only
Viewers cannot save schedules. The Save and Save As buttons are not visible to Viewers.
Locked schedules¶
If the currently loaded schedule has been locked by an administrator in the Library, the Save button changes to 🔒 Locked and is disabled. Hovering over it shows a tooltip explaining the lock.
You can still use Save As… to save the current placements as a new schedule under a different name, even when the loaded schedule is locked.
To unlock a schedule, go to the Library and toggle the lock off (admin only).
Export to CSV¶
Exporting creates a file with all placements across all semesters.
- Click ⬇ Export CSV in the toolbar.
The file downloads automatically, named schedule-[schedule name].csv. It includes the teacher ID, course code, course name, block day, period number, and semester for each placement. Prep periods are excluded from the export.
